What information will I need to register?

Registration is easy. Be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Full name
  • Company name
  • Complete mailing address
  • Contact information (phone, email)
  • Emergency contact information
  • Special accommodations
  • Credit card number and expiration date for event fees or hotel guarantee (American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted)

Can I register someone else?

Yes, online registration allows you to register on behalf of others. Each registration requires a unique email address, which is used to generate login credentials and is needed for check-in at the conference.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your registration fee for a full conference pass entitles you to the following:

Are one-day passes available?

Yes, you can purchase a one-day pass for use on Tuesday, May 23, for $845. The pass provides access to activities taking place that day, such as the opening and product spotlight keynotes, and access to Solutions Expo and Synergy Park.

Are Solutions Expo-only passes available?

Yes, you can purchase a Solutions Expo pass for use on Tuesday, May 23, for $345. The pass provides access to the Solutions Expo, including lunch served in the Expo area, as well as the Welcome Reception.

Is there a pass for guests? What does it include?

Yes, a guest pass is available for $250. The pass allows your guest to participate in the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, May 23, and the Final Night Party on Thursday, May 25. However, a guest pass does not provide access to conference sessions and conference meals, which are limited to registered attendees holding a full conference or day pass. Guest passes are nonrefundable and are restricted to individuals 21 years of age or older.

Is there a deadline for registration?

No, there is no registration deadline. You can even register on-site if you prefer to wait until the conference starts. However, registrations received early may qualify for discounts. Visit Pricing for conference pass pricing information and special offers.

When is the Registration Desk open on site at the event?

Registration Desk hours are:

What payment methods are accepted for Synergy registration?

You have the option to pay by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover) or by wire transfer. Just select your payment option when prompted in the registration process and you will be billed accordingly. A payment receipt will be available for access in your My Account tool.

When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

An email confirmation will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. If you have not received this email within 12 hours, please alert Synergy Headquarters.

I’ve attended Synergy events before. Will I receive any special benefits?

As a Synergy alumnus, you are entitled to special benefits including a discounted conference rate. Please note that you must have attended any Synergy event in 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016 to qualify for alumni status.

Can I be denied registration for any reason?

Citrix reserves the right to deny registration to any individual, attending group or entity for any reason, at the company’s sole discretion, including for past or present failure to meet Citrix standards of conduct (including, but not limited to, engaging in violent, illegal, threatening or discriminatory conduct).

Do I need a visa to attend the conference?

A few countries require a visa for entry into the United States. We recommend checking in advance with your country's local U.S. consulate for requirements. Typically, this information can be found on consulate websites.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations prior to April 20, 2017 are eligible for a 100 percent refund. Starting April 21, 2017, conference fees are nonrefundable, and there are no exceptions. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing Synergy Headquarters at Replacement attendees from within your company may be substituted at any time by providing Synergy Headquarters with written notice via email of the names of both original and replacement registrants.

What are important upcoming content release dates for Synergy?

On February 13, we will launch an enhanced website that includes previews of breakout sessions and  speaker highlights. You will also be able to register for the Instructor-led Learning Labs preconference workshop. On March 6, the complete session catalog will go live and once registered for Synergy you can begin adding breakout sessions to your personal agenda.


Do I need to contact the hotel to book my reservation?

Synergy Headquarters has arranged a special discounted rate at the Hilton Orlando, Hyatt Regency Orlando, Rosen Centre Hotel and Rosen Plaza Hotel. When you register online for Synergy, you will have an opportunity to request your hotel reservation, specify check-in and checkout dates and provide your credit card information. A hotel reservation will be made for you and guaranteed with your credit card. Note that conference hotel rooms are based on availability.

Do I need to give a credit card to reserve my hotel room?

Yes, a credit card will be needed to confirm your reservation at a designated Synergy hotel.

What time is check-in and checkout at the hotels reserved for Synergy?

Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and checkout time is 11:00 a.m.

If I am not registered for Synergy, how do I book my hotel room?

To take advantage of special discounted room rates, you must be registered for the conference and book your hotel through the registration site.

Is transportation provided from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the Orange County Convention Center?

No, transportation is not provided. Please check the Travel section of the Synergy website for information on different options, including shuttles, taxis and public transportation.

At the conference

Where do I pick up my badge?

Please pick up your badge at the Synergy Registration Desk during open registration hours. The desk will be located in the Orange County Convention Center | West Concourse, Level II, West Hall C Lobby. For security purposes, be prepared to show government-issued photo identification to pick up your badge.

Do I need to wear my badge throughout the entire conference?

Yes, please wear your conference badge to all functions, sessions and meetings so you can be readily identified as an attendee of Synergy. Conference badges are a key part of the precautions being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment at Synergy. Should you lose your badge, there is a $50 replacement fee.

What meals are included in the registration fee?

Breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided on each full day of the conference. Also, attendees are invited to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, May 23, where hors d’oeuvres will be served. Dinner will be provided at the Final Night Party on Thursday, May 25. Please note that the catering kitchens and catering staff of the Orange County Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency Orlando openly handle several allergens throughout the conference, including dairy, soy, tree nuts, eggs, wheat and others. While they take precautions to keep ingredients separate, they cannot guarantee that menu items are allergen free. All conference menu selections will be labeled if they contain any known allergens. Attendees should request to speak with a banquet captain prior to enjoying their meal, if there are any concerns with any of the menu items offered.

When is the Final Night Party?

This exclusive event featuring theme park rides, entertainment, music, food and beverages will take place in Universal CityWalk™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ on Thursday, May 25, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

What is the recommended attire for Synergy attendees?

The attire for the entire Synergy conference is business casual (slacks, polo shirts, etc.). Please keep in mind the convention center and hotels are fully air conditioned and may be cool at times. A light jacket or sweater for indoor wear is recommended.

What is the common language spoken at Synergy?

The official language of the conference is English and all general sessions will be presented in English. Translation services will not be provided.

Will Internet access be available?

WiFi and charging stations will be available throughout the Orange County Convention Center; information on how to access wireless connectivity will be provided on-site and through the Synergy Mobile app.

Can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?

Yes, the presentations will be posted and available free from your Synergy My Account tool approximately two weeks after Synergy concludes.
