Geek Speak Live!
Tired of PowerPoint presentations in dark conference rooms? You need the “unconference” – where you pick the topics, you run the discussions and you generally call the shots! A number of discussion slots that will be open for conference attendees to choose, vote on, and lead. Instead of lectures, there’ll be a series of rapid-fire discussions led by widely recognized technical subject-matter experts and thought leaders, both from Citrix and the wider App Delivery Infrastructure community.
Instead of a bunch of politically correct executives, you’ll meet industry tech geeks, bloggers and analysts with fresh viewpoints and interesting opinions on where technology is headed.
And to be true to the theme of this year’s event - "Tips, Techniques, Tools, and Toys" - there will also be a selection of cool tools and gadgets in the Gadget Lounge for attendees to check out and play with. Click here to see a snapshot of the cool devices to be featured.
Headliners
Headlining Geek Speak Live! will be a host of recognized thought leaders in Application Delivery, such as Doug Brown, Rick Dehlinger, Russ Daniels and Jun Nakajima who will each have 10 minutes to talk about whatever technical subject is on their mind, followed by a Q&A session that can last as long as needed. If that isn't enough to twirl your propeller, attendees to Geek Speak Live! can create or join their own discussion groups with as little as 2 people.
On Wednesday, May 21, we will also be holding our marathon "bar camps", even more user created sessions where you bring your own laptop and join in to learn about topics as wide ranging as "PowerShell Tips" to "The Stress of IT".
