Barcelona has a convenient and efficient public transport network (buses, metro and suburban rail).

Train
- The train service from the airport to the city centre (Paseo de Gracia) runs from 06.08 to 23.08 (Barcelona-bound) and from 05.28 to 23.02 (airport-bound).
- Trains depart every 30 minutes and the journey takes 25 minutes. From Paseo de Gracia train station, you can access the yellow line (line 4) of Barcelona's metro system.
- The station nearest CCIB and conference hotels - AC Barcelona, Hilton Diagonal Mar, Barcelona Princess and Diagonal Zero, is Maresme-Fòrum.

Metro/Bus
- The bus service from the airport to the city centre (Plaza Cataluña) runs from 06.00 to 01.00 (Barcelona-bound) and from 05.30 to 00.30 (airport-bound) every day.
- Buses depart every 10-12 minutes and the journey takes 35 minutes.
- Next to Plaza Cataluña is Urquinaona metro station on the yellow line (line 4), which leads directly to the CCIB (Maresme-Fòrum station).

Taxi
Barcelona has 10,500 taxis, which are easily identified by their yellow and black colour. They have a clearly visible green light on their roof which, when lit, indicates that they are available.
Journey by taxi between the airport and city centre is about 20 minutes. Rates vary depending on the time of the day (between €25 and €40). Additional charges are applied for airport services and luggage. Please note that not all the taxis in Barcelona take credit cards.
Metro/Tram
Currently the Metro does not provide service between the airport and city centre.
The Metro is available for service within the city centre and near the CCIB. Access the CCIB on the metro (Maresme-Fòrum station on the yellow line, L4); by bus (lines 7, 36, 41, 43 and 141) and the Trambesòs tram line (Forum station). All of these means of transport are just a few minutes' walk from the CCIB.
