Breakout sessions
Educational sessions are at the heart of the conference, and Synergy 2012 will deliver an even greater choice of technical and business breakouts. Led by Citrix experts and other IT thought leaders, with participation by customers in many sessions, these presentations will be organised into four tracks:
- Cloud Convergence: These sessions will explore the newest cloud infrastructure and management solutions and technologies for enterprises and service providers. Key areas of focus will include automation, orchestration, networking, and access and management for compute and application services.
- Enterprise Cloud Networks: This track will address the latest innovations in cloud networking solutions and networking virtualisation for datacenter consolidation. Key technology areas include application delivery, optimisation, load balancing, disaster recovery and site recovery, security, service delivery and multi-tenancy in private and public clouds.
- Mobile Workstyles: This track will investigate innovations and technologies to support today’s increasingly mobile workforce. Topics will include collaboration, mobile data access, mobile app management, app stores, device management, security, Bring Your Own and workshifting solutions critical to mobile workstyles
- Desktop Virtualisation: Sessions will examine the key trends, technologies and solutions for virtualisation at the desktop, covering all aspects of administration and service delivery – apps, data, devices, mobility, security and management – illustrated with expert best practices and rich technical details.
