Geek Speak Live!

Tired of formal slide presentations in dark conference rooms? Then make way for Geek Speak Live!, the ultimate unconference at Citrix Synergy 2010! Technical experts, industry analysts, and bloggers take the reins—choosing discussion topics and facilitating the sessions. Instead of structured conference lectures, the Geek Speak Live! track includes a series of rapid-fire discussions and debates led by widely recognized technical subject matter experts and thought leaders from the IT community.

Geek Speak Live! will be integrated into the Synergy 2010 agenda from May 11-14, and we’ll be keeping the discussion real with three distinct session formats:

Geek Speak Tonight!

The fan-favorite, geektastic happy hour event returns, where Citrix Technology Professionals (CTPs) and Citrix CTOs facilitate interactive discussions on compelling technical topics, and the audience always takes center stage! These thought-provoking sessions will kick off Synergy on Tuesday, May 11, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Geek Speak Track

A series of open, unfiltered discussion sessions on a variety of technical topics led by well-respected industry thought leaders. These 50-minute sessions will be held alongside the normal breakout agenda, giving you a chance to get a breath of fresh air.

Geek Speakeasy

Geek Speak Live! comes to the Synergy Expo Hall as the Geek Speakeasy. It features a relaxed lounge area for interactive discussions with industry thought leaders, and a lab area for bring your own laptop sessions with technical experts also drawn from the wider community. Grab a snack and head over to the Speakeasy!

True to our aim of letting you set the Geek Speak agenda, we’ve provided a topic voting tool in our Synergy Suggestion Box where you can propose or vote for topics and speakers—including yourself! The topics that get the most votes will be included in the Geek Speak Live! agenda.
