Mark Templeton is president and CEO of Citrix. Templeton leads the Citrix vision for a world where people, IT and businesses can experience work and life their way. He is responsible for the company’s market direction, product strategy and ensuring the best possible experience for Citrix customers. He guides the unique Citrix culture by emphasizing core values of conviction, humility, integrity and respect.
Templeton joined Citrix in 1995 as vice president of marketing, prior to the company’s initial public offering. He was appointed president in 1998 and chief executive officer in 2001. Under his leadership, Citrix has been transformed from a $15 million organization with one product, one customer segment and one go-to-market path, to a global powerhouse with annual revenues of $2.9 billion and 100 million users worldwide. Today, Citrix is a leader in mobile workspaces, providing virtualization, mobility management, networking and cloud services to enable new ways to work better. Citrix solutions power business mobility through secure, personal workspaces that provide people with instant access to apps, desktops, data and communications on any device, over any network and cloud.
Templeton holds a bachelor’s degree in product design from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. He is a passionate participant in many community and charitable organizations and serves on the board of directors of Equifax.
A popular and provocative speaker, Templeton has shared his perspective and technology vision with audiences at events such as CIO 100 and Interop, as well as the Citrix Synergy user and Citrix Summit partner conferences. He has received numerous leadership awards, such as the AeA Abacus Award for Outstanding High-Tech Executive, “Businessperson of the Year” (EVIE Award) and the Excalibur Award. He is also included on Glassdoor’s 2013 list of “50 Highest Rated CEOs.”
Mitch Parker leads Citrix’s imperative to build mobile workstyles solutions delivered as a cloud service, including the strategic direction, product management, product development, product marketing, and revenue attainment. Mr. Parker joined Citrix in February 2000, leading several consulting services teams. He has also held various executive positions at Citrix including Chief of Staff to the CEO, Vice President of Channel Programs and Sales Operations, Vice President of Services, and Group VP and GM of Client Virtualization. Prior to Citrix, Parker served as associate director at Innovex Group, an IT consulting firm based in South Florida. He also served as a manager in the transportation industry practice of Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. He holds a M.B.A and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Mitch lives in Menlo Park with his wife and 3 kids and is an avid college football fan.
Senior VP & GM Delivery Networks,
Klaus Oestermann is senior vice president and general manager of the Delivery Networks business unit at Citrix. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s networking, cloud and communication service provider technologies, which are used by a wide variety of customers and partners from communications service providers and enterprises to the largest websites and cloud providers in the world.
Prior to this role, Oestermann was group vice president and general manager of the Networking, Cloud and Service Provider group at Citrix.
Oestermann has been with Citrix for fifteen years and held various other positions within the company, including various consecutive group vice president roles in the company’s R&D organization, and in his earlier career, sales leadership positions in both EMEA and the U.S., as well as responsibility for worldwide channel strategies and development.
He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the IT industry. Before joining Citrix, he was managing director for CMA Systems, Denmark. He also worked for IBM in a variety of roles.
Oestermann holds a bachelor’s degree - HD Business Diploma Degree in Marketing Management from Copenhagen Business School, as well as an Academy Economist degree in Marketing and Service Management.
